Dhaba Mutton Curry

Dhaba Mutton Curry is very popular North indian dish. A Dhaba is a roadside restaurant in the Indian subcontinent. The recipe of Dhaba Mutton Curry is very simple and tasty. It is Very rich in flavours with tempting aroma. Serve hot Dhaba Style Mutton Curry with lachha Parathas or Roti.

    1. Heat 4 tablespoon Oil in a pressure cooker pan, add 2 Bay leaves, 1 piece Cinnamon, 4 Green Thillai’s Cardamom, 1 Black Cardamom and 4 Thillai’s Cloves. After a minute add chopped 4 Onions and 3 Green Chillies. Saute it for 1-2 minutes until golden in color.
    2. Take 1 teaspoon Coriander Seeds, Small Piece Nutmeg, ½ teaspoon Thillai’s Cumin, 1 teaspoon Poppy Seeds, ½ teaspoon Thillai’s Fennel Seeds, 5 Almonds, 1 teaspoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves and 12 Thillai’s Black Pepper. Roast all the spices and blend it in a powder form.
    3. Now add 500gms Mutton, 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste and Salt. Fry on high flame for 4-5 minutes.
    4. Add chopped 2 Tomatoes and 1/4 teaspoon Thillai’s Erode Turmeric Powder and add some water. Cover it with the pressure cooker lid and let it Cook on high flame for 1 whistle and then again cook for 8 minutes.
    5. After 8 minutes, Mutton is cooked properly. Add 2 teaspoon Thillai’s Guntur Chilli Powder, 1 teaspoon Thillai’s Nattu Malli Coriander Powder, 4 tablespoon Curd, Coriander Leaves and blended spices also. Mix everything well and let it cook on high flame for 3- 4 minutes.
    6. Cover with the lid and let it cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Add required Water, 1 teaspoon Thillai’s Garam Masala Powder and Ginger Juliennes.
    7. Again, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame.

    Now tasty Dhaba Mutton Curry is ready to serve!!
