Mushroom Curry Recipe is an easy restaurant-style Mushroom Gravy dish that is very simple to make. To make an appetizing, comforting, and warming meal, you can serve mushroom curry gravy with chapathi, naan, plain paratha, Plain rice, jeera rice, pulao and biryani.

Preparation Method For Mushroom Curry

  1. Clean the 500g mushroom, chop off the stem and chop them. Set aside in a bowl.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a kadai. Once they get heated up, add the 12 curry leaves, 1 onions, 1 green chilly and ½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on a medium flame. Saute onion till it turns into golden color.
  3. Add 1 tomatoes and cook till the raw smell disappears. Add 2 teaspoon Thillai’s Erode Turmeric Powder, ½ teaspoon Thillai’s Guntur Chilli Powder, 1 teaspoon Thillai’s Nattu Malli Coriander Powder and saute for couple of minutes. Cook till the oil separates out of the mixture.
  4. Add the mushrooms and give it a complete stir. Cover and cook on a medium flame for 5-8 minutes. Add 2 cups of water, salt and cook for 10-15 minutes. Cook the mushroom until they get soft and chewy.
  5. Once the gravy begins to thick, add 2 teaspoon Thillai’s Unjha Cumin Powder and 2 teaspoon Thillai’s Garam masala Powder. Cook them for another 3-5 minutes. Adjust salt to taste.
  6. Switch off the flame and serve hot Mushroom Curry!!!
