- 1 Kg Mutton
- 1Kg Seeraga Samba Rice
- 60 ml Coconut Oil
- 1 tablespoon Thillai’s Garam Masala Powder
- 1 small piece Cinnamon
- 2 Cardamom
- 2 Cloves
- 4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Coriander Leaves
- 1 cup Mint Leaves
- 1 cup Curd
- 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Water – 8 cup
Heat 120ml oil and 60ml coconut oil in a pressure cooker or a wide pan.
Add in 1 small piece cinnamon, 2 cloves and 2 cardamoms and let it sizzle.
Add in 4 large tomatoes and mix well. Cook that till mushy.
Add in 4 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add in curd, green chillies and mix well.
Add in 1kg mutton and salt and mix well. Add in 100g Thillai’s Easy Biryani Mix and 1 tablespoon Thillai’s Garam Masala Powder and mix well.
Add in 8 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Cover and pressure cook for 5 to 6 whistle till mutton is done.
Now add in 1 kg Jeera Samba rice, 1 cup of coriander leaves, 1 cup of mint leaves and 1 cup curd and mix well.
Cook on high heat for 10 mins. Add 2 tablespoon lemon juice and mix well.
Simmer the pan and cover with the lid. Remove the cooker whistle. Simmer for 15 mins. Remove and fluff the rice.
Garnish with onion rings and fresh coriander leaves.
