Special Tricolor Idli

    Ingredients

      • 1 Cup of grated carrot
      • 1 Cup of Mint and Coriander leaves
      • Rava / Sooji
      • Idli batter
      • Ginger
      • Cumin seeds
      • Green chillies
      • Salt to taste
      • Oil
      • Pepper seeds

    Preparation Method:

     Batter:

    • Soak a cup Rava in water for 10 minutes.Add the required amount of idle batter to Rava and mix well.
    • Add salt to taste. Mix well and divide them into three portions and and pour and batter into three different bowls.

    Safforn color Idli.

    • Take a pan and add oil in it. Add grated carrot to it.Add some salt and water and cook well. After cooking allow it to cook well.
    • Take a mixie jar. Grind the cooked carrot to a paste.Mix the carrot paste with the Rava Idli batter.
    • Mix well. Bring the batter to Idli preparation consistency. Pour the batter to the Idli plate and steam cook for 10 minutes.

    White color Idli.

    • Take a pan and add oil in it. Add smashed Ginger, cumin seeds, pepper seeds and green chillies to it.
    • Add some salt and cook Take a mixie jar.  mix well. Bring the batter to Idli preparation consistency.Pour the batter to the Idli plate and steam cook for 10 minutes.
    • After ten minutes, our saffon color Idli is ready. Remove the Idlis from Idli plate and serve hot with a chutney and sambhar. Our white rava Idli is ready.

    Green color Idli.

    • Take a pan and add oil in it. Add a cup of Mint and Coriander leaves to it. Add some salt and water and cook well. After cooking allow it to cook well.
    • Take a mixie jar. Grind the cooked leaves to a paste. Mix the leaves paste with the rava Idli batter. Mix well. Bring the batter for Idli preparation consistency..Pour the batter to the Idli plate and steam cook for 10 minutes.
    • After ten minutes, our saffon color Idli is ready. Remove the Idlis from Idli plate and serve hot with a chutney and sambhar. Our green Idli is ready.

    Now tasty Special Tricolor Idli is ready to serve.
